Rev. Rosemary Schindler, relative of Oskar Schindler, will be displaying archives, and sharing her experiences from being part of the Schindler legacy that includes Oskar's successful efforts to save so many Jewish lives in the face of Nazi genocide. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and her family pastors Shiloh Church in Oakland, California.

Rosemary is continuing the Schindler family's heritage and message through Schindler's Ark whose purpose is to promote understanding between Christians and Jews, to speak out against anti-Semitism, and to bring aid, comfort and support to the Jewish people and Israel. Rosemary, together with Holocaust survivors and their descendants, are committed to "not being silent" so that our future generations will "never again" experience such tragedy.

Rosemary Schindler is a licensed Travel Agent, accredited Tourism Ambassador and host to biblical lands. Her travels have included Canada, China, Mexico, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Scotland, England, the Czech Republic, Poland, South Korea and 42 trips to Israel. - 63rd Reunion Tour to Hamburg, Germany and Israel March, 2002

- 64th St. Louis Ship Survivors Reunion Tour to Cuba in August, 2004

In December 2009, during Hanukkah, Rev. Schindler represented the U.S.A. and the international Christian Community at the signing of U.S. Senate Resolution 111 acknowledging America's turning away of almost one thousand German Jewish refugees who sought the safety of our shores as they fled Nazi Europe. Being turned back at gunpoint from Miami forced them back into the hands of Hitler who then gave the world an excuse for his "Final Solution" to the nation's "Jewish problem". Resolution 111 was personally signed by Rev. Schindler, the Holocaust survivors of the St. Louis Ship, the head of the U.S. Holocaust Museum, the head of the U.S. National Archives, government leaders from the United States of America. The signing was witnessed by representatives from Germany and Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Jerusalem.

The story of the St. Louis was the subject of the Academy Award nominated 1976 film Voyage of the Damned starring Faye Dunaway, Lee Grant and Dame Wendy Hiller. That film was based on a book of the same title by Gordon Thomas and Max Morgan Witts. Information Website: http://thestlouisproject.com/
